When we have something to write about, and we are still at the very start - so energetic and perky that we can handle mountains - it is important not to overstrain.

It may seem to us that we have a lot of strength and creative energy, and also (what is the most deceptive) - a lot of time, and it will always be so. On this impulse, I see one systemic error among the participants: to write and publish large texts for 1-2 hours of work from the first day.

If we start taking heavy weights in the gym from the first day, then very quickly we will get injured. In the writing of posts, I just regularly observe this kind of (but, psychological) trauma.

First of all, this is emotional burnout. That is especially dangerous in the first hundred meters of the distance, when we are still running a marathon. Starting injuries make travel a pain, and are almost guaranteed to lead to tight motion and quick elimination. Do not do like this!

Give yourself a ceiling today: limit your post to 500-600 characters today. Stop when you reach it. Publish. Get high. Treat yourself :)

A few recommendations:

  1. Take a topic that goes well, straight «lies on the tongue»
  2. Do not take «heavy weight»: do not dive into deep reflection, do not dig into factual matter, stay on the surface
  3. Use an online service that shows the number of characters in real time, such as https://wordcounter.net/
  4. When you publish a post, take a break for a few seconds to feel the thrill - stretch the moment you press the buttons, feel the pleasure, reward yourself with pleasant thoughts (for example, «Damn, I'm awesome!» Or «I'm cool!»)

Cool! 💪
